Register to become a Housesitter

What is the process involved in becoming a Housesitter

  1. Fill out our registration form
  2. Login to your account and complete your Housesitter profile by uploading references, photos and write an introduction brief which will be sent to Homeowners whose homes you apply to sit.
  3. Complete the Ministry Of Justice Police Check form which allows us to run a records check.
  4. Be interviewed by a Housesitting Company director (face-to-face interview for Auckland sitters, phone interview for out of Auckland sitters).

Once you have been interviewed your account will be enabled and you will be able to apply for the housesits on our database. Until then, you can browse the listings and work on completing your Housesitter profile, but you will not be able to apply for sits at this stage.

The cost of being a Housesitting Company Sitter in Auckland is $75.00 per year. For those outside the Auckland region there is currently no membership fee.
